Two policies, two different things. This page covers this website, which uses analytics cookies.
The WrenchSync app is different: it has no servers, no accounts and no analytics, and nothing you enter ever leaves your device. Don't read this page's cookie disclosures as applying to the app — they don't.
Who we are
This website is operated by Vexaran Holdings LLC ("we", "us"), which publishes the WrenchSync iOS app. For anything in this policy, contact info@wrenchsync.app.
What we collect on this website
We do not ask you for any personal information on this site. There are no forms, no accounts and no sign-ups. What we do collect is analytics data, gathered automatically:
- Google Analytics 4 — how many people visit, which pages they read, roughly where in the world they are, what kind of device and browser they use, and which site referred them.
- Server logs — our host records IP addresses and requested URLs as part of normal operation and security.
Google acts as an independent controller of the data it receives and may combine it with data from other Google services. We do not receive names, email addresses or payment details through this website.
Cookies and local storage
This is the complete list. Nothing else is set.

The last two are not cookies — they are browser local storage, they are first-party, they are never sent to any server, and they exist only so the site remembers your own choices. They stay regardless of whether you accept or decline.
Your choice, and how we currently ask
You can accept or decline analytics cookies using the banner, or at any time afterwards through Cookie settings in the footer of every page. Declining is a single click and is given the same prominence as accepting.
Please read this if you are in the EU or UK. At present this site loads Google Analytics when you arrive, and the banner lets you decline afterwards. Under the GDPR and the ePrivacy rules, consent for non-essential cookies must be obtained before they are set, so this opt-out approach does not meet that standard for EU/UK visitors.
If you decline, we stop sending data and delete the first-party cookies listed above that we are able to delete from your browser. To object to any processing that happened before you declined, contact info@wrenchsync.app and we will action it.
Browser-level controls also work: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use Global Privacy Control, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
Fonts
Typefaces are served from this domain, not from a third-party CDN. Earlier versions of this site loaded them from Google's font servers, which transmitted every visitor's IP address to Google before any consent could be given — a German court has held that to be an infringement of visitor rights (LG München I, 3 O 17493/20). The fonts are now self-hosted, so no font request leaves this site and no data is shared with Google for typography.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for analytics cookies.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for server logs and keeping the site secure and available.
You can withdraw consent at any time; withdrawing is as easy as giving it, and it does not affect anything done before you withdrew.
International transfers
Google is US-headquartered and processes data in the United States and elsewhere. It relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and on Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers out of the EEA and UK.
How long data is kept
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default. Server logs are kept by our host on their standard schedule. We hold no database of website visitors ourselves.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents may request disclosure or deletion, and may opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — declining cookies on this site is how you exercise that here. We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.
To make a request, email info@wrenchsync.app. Because we do not hold accounts, we may need you to identify the browser or approximate visit in question, and in some cases we may not be able to link any data to you at all. EU/UK residents may also complain to their local supervisory authority.

Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Links out
Pages here link to the App Store and to affiliate partners. Once you follow such a link you are on someone else's site under their policy. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Changes
If we change what we collect, we will update this page and reset the consent banner so you are asked again.
